Grafton High School’s Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) Program offers a unique opportunity to promote physical activity and skill development in a structured, safe, supervised and regulated environment.

Students develop confidence in their life skills and abilities and are more likely to continue these practices into and beyond adolescence and to develop positive expectations about their health and participation in games and sport.
At Grafton High School our well trained, experienced and supportive teachers deliver a diverse range of subjects in both the Junior and Senior years.

Stage 4 & 5
PDHPE at Grafton High aims to promote Health and Physical Activity as important lifelong pursuits. The program is broken into four areas Physical Education (PE), Health Education, Sport and Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS). Each of these programs caters to a wide range of interests and ability levels and has a balance of major sports offered in the Clarence Valley as well as interest and recreational activities.

Stage 6
In Years 11 and 12 Personal Development, Health and Physical Education provides for the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of students. It involves students learning and practising ways of maintaining active, healthy lifestyles and improving health. The four subjects available in Stage 6 are:
